What is WHF?

At Subi Church, it is our vision is to help you grow as a Whole Hearted Follower of Christ.

From teachings of Scripture we have isolated 5 core practices that God calls us to engage in to nurture the seed of new life that God has placed in us. These 5 core practices are like 5 pieces of a jigsaw - when we put them together, we gain a whole picture of what a solid spiritual growth plan looks like

There are 5 core practices that make up a WHF are:
- The Call to Walk with God
- The Call to Corporate Worship and Service
- The Call to Community
- The Call to Mission
- The Call to Accountability

Why WHF?

Jesus Said in Matthew 22:37, "You Shall love the Lord your God with your whole heart, soul and mind... This is the greatest commandment. And a second is like it, You shall love your neighbour as yourself.. on these two commandments depends the whole Law and Prophets... "

Of course it is not by obeying even these instructions of Jesus that we are saved. Salvation is God's gift through Jesus Christ. Yet there are many indications in Scripture that we are to make a determined response to God's initiative. We are to co-operate with God's work by striving to be like Christ, and seeking to do what He calls us to do.

"Work out your salvation with fear and trembling." Philippians 2:12
"Make every effort to add to your faith goodness.. knowledge.. self-control.. perseverance.. godliness.. brotherly kindness.. love." 2 Peter 1:5-7
"Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ." 2 Peter 3:18
