What is Alpha?
The Alpha course is an opportunity for you to explore the Christian faith - at your own pace. It is relaxed, non-threatening, low key, friendly and fun. Millions of others around the world have done the course and you are invited to check it out!
Listen, learn, share, discuss and discover. Ask anything! Alpha is a place where no question is too trivial, too stupid, nor too intimidating.
Each session concludes with supper, giving you the opportunity to get to know others in your group.
What is Involved?
The Alpha course consists of a 7-week series of talks looking at topics such as 'Who is Jesus?', 'Why and how do I pray?', 'How does God guide us?', etc. After each talk, a time of small group discussion follows to allow you to ask questions, and to share your own thoughts and ideas.
Who is Alpha for?
Alpha is for everyone! But is it especially helpful for those wanting to investigate Christianity, anyone new to church, new christians, and those who just want to brush up on the basics.
Alpha is free for anyone who wants to explore the claims of Christ and the Christian faith!
ALPHA COURSE 2011
The last Alpha Course came to an end on Tuesday 25th October 2011 with a Celebration Dinner and a Q & A Night. Four speakers were invited to come along and answer some 35 “Tough Questions” that had been collected and collated over the past 2 months of the Course.
